Mi5 Networks to Debut New Anti-Spyware Appliances at DEMO 2006
Brightmail, Netscreen and TurnTide Executives and Investors Back New Security Company
Sunnyvale, Ca- January 9, 2006 – Mi5 Networks, a provider of enterprise-class anti-spyware gateway appliances, today announced it has been selected to present at DEMO 2006 in Phoenix, Arizona. The three-day conference, which runs from February 6th-8th, attracts the industry's leading thinkers and decision-makers and showcases innovative new products.

Investors
Mi5 Networks has secured its Series A funding from its management team, Brightmail founder
Sunil Paul and Brightmail angel investors Ron Conway, Mark Pincus and Mike Homer. With
additional investments from Rakesh Loonkar, former vice president of sales at Netscreen,
TurnTide investor Josh Kopelman of First Round Capital, and others, Mi5 Networks will use the
initial round of investment to fuel the company's sales and marketing rollout.
