Doug Camplejohn – CEO and Founder
Mi5 is the second company Mr. Camplejohn has founded and led. He started his previous company, MyPlay, a digital music locker service, in 1999 and sold it to Bertelsmann in 2001. Mr. Camplejohn has also spent over 14 years in various Product Management and Marketing roles. At Vontu, a Data Loss Prevention security software company, Mr. Camplejohn was the VP of Product Management and Marketing. Prior to Vontu, he was the VP of Marketing for Epiphany, a leader in enterprise customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Prior to Epiphany, Mr. Camplejohn consulted in a variety of senior Marketing and Product Management roles at enterprise software companies including Connectify and Broadbase (both acquired by Kana), Resonate, and Differential (acquired by Tumbleweed). Mr. Camplejohn began his career at Apple Computer, where he was the Product Manager for QuickTime.
Mr. Camplejohn received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with Honors and a M.S. in Industrial Administration (MBA) from Carnegie Mellon University.
Ofer Doitel – VP of Engineering and Founder
Prior to co-founding Mi5, Mr. Doitel was the Founder, Chairman and CEO of AccessLan Communications. Mr. Doitel founded AccessLan in 1997 to deliver multi-service broadband infrastructure to the carrier market. The company was acquired by AFC in 2002. Prior to AccessLan Mr. Doitel served as the General Manager, Network Management Business and VP of Software for SynOptics/Bay Networks where he built the software organization to a business generating $400M of revenue in the enterprise market. Mr. Doitel worked for SynOptics/Bay Networks from 1990 to 1996. Prior to SynOptics, Mr. Doitel worked for Microsoft and previously for Control Data Corporation on various SW projects.
Mr. Doitel holds a BSC in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University.
Tom Orella – Vice President, Sales & Business Development
Mr. Orella brings more than 20 years of security and enterprise software sales management experience to Mi5 Networks. He has successfully built and managed high performance sales organizations for several security technology vendors including FrontBridge, ForeScout, and Internet Security Systems (ISS), where he built both direct sales and partner driven sales organizations. Mr. Orella has played a pivotal role in establishing emerging vendors as industry leaders, which resulted in highly successful acquisitions and IPOs.
Orella holds a B.S. in Business from San Jose State University.
Denise Sandoval – Vice President of Finance
Denise Sandoval brings more than 20 years of experience managing finance and operations for networking and telecommunications companies to Mi5 Networks. Sandoval joined Mi5 Networks from Calient Networks, a maker of telecommunications equipment, where she was vice president of finance and administration. Prior to Calient, she was Controller of Photuris, a maker of optical networking equipment. Previously, Sandoval was Controller for AccessLan Communications where she built and managed the company’s entire financial infrastructure through the company’s acquisition by Advanced Fibre Communications (AFC). She has also managed the financial functions at Applied Signal Technology, MadenTech Consulting, and Network Equipment Technologies (N.E.T.) Federal.
Sandoval holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a CPA certificate through the Commonwealth of Virginia.
